Don’t understand how some networks work and others have nothing
I wouldn’t advise this company. I signed up for a deal line this. I received the sim which should have been preloaded with the package but it wasn’t. They just kept texting me to buy a bundle.
I took a screen shot when I ordered it so I had definitive proof. I must have rang at least 20 times to resolve it but they kept saying ‘sorry mam, we’ll escalate the issue’.
I would never use this company. No matter how great the deal is. Seriously, they’re a 0/5.
I ordered one about two months ago by paying 99p postage. When it arrived I had to choose a bundle via their website. Nothing on their website represented the 99p offer so I put It In my drawer and never bothered. I just noticed It’s advertised on this page as 99p per month but when you click the link It’s 89p per month. This company to me seems very dodgy as you don’t always get what Is advertised.
True I got myself a lebara one ages ago and never had any issues with the deal . I ordered a Lyca one for my partner and it was fine , arrived and was loaded with the deal offered . However I sent the deal to a friend and when she received her sim it didn’t have the deal on . I told her it took about 5 minutes to activate the deal after I had put my partners sim in his phone. Unfortunately it didn’t work for her . She had taken screenshots all the way through the process of ordering the sim so was going to contact them . I’m not sure if it was resolved for her but I will ask her she update here
Their coverage is terrible. I often don't get calls through and the Internet service is terrible.
Another good deal from lyca. Thanks for sharing this deal. Will share this with the family member.
defo gunna get one of these so i can claim my next voucher on cashwalks as it asks me for a diff number every time which is so frustraighting.
What a great offer, 5GB is more than enough, ideal SIM for many of us. Thanks for sharing with us all
Another great mobile sim only plan with unbeatable prices . Thanks for sharing because it’s a great way to cut your mobile phone bill costs .
A 5 gb 30 dy sim for only £0.89 that was £5.90 this is a fantastic deal thank you so much for sharing
mikelennox Remember to cancel after 6 months or it goes back to £5.90 but still cheap if you can get a Vodaphone signal which at home I cannot but have as a backup in my dual sim phone
Corred64 I think it’s still good value at £5.90 after the 6 months so if I haven’t had any problems with it I will continue the offer . It’s much cheaper than what we were paying (I ordered this sim for my other half as I have a lebara sim deal ). Before that I was using giff gaff and the cheapest goody bag they offer is £6 a month for unlimited calls and texts but only 1GB of data . So this is much better as you get 5GB with this deal for £5.90 (after the first 6 months )
did you mean you wanted to transfer your old number to the Lyca service . I have taken picture from the letter that came with the sim explaining how to keep your current number.
Again a great deal from lyca mobile. Great to see a month of bundle at this price. At this price it's a must buy deal
Another great offer from Lyca, I hope they're still offering when my current contract expires.
Sadly no more Lyca deals for me. Can't get a sniff of a signal since they moved to EE. Shame cos I use their esim, come on then Lebara!
tightasowt As far as I know Lyca now use the O2 network not EE, I get a 5 bar signal in my home with EE but struggle to get 1 bar in my house with Lyca, I thought they were Vodaphone but they are not, indeed I think Voda have now merged with 3 although I think Voda also share the O2 masts (not sure this is 100% accurate but I cannot use O2, Voda or 3 in my house)
Has it expired? As the
TERMS & CONDITIONS state - Price & Offer Effective from 22.05.2023 - 30.06.2023.
I got one for husband for the EU trip, and it was all good and much cheaper than getting a bolt on for his usual provider and got to keep his phone number. Great deal
Excellent deal but they moved to EE network without telling anyone which may cause problems for those with poor EE signal. Cheeky!
Wow again a great offer from Lyca. Super cheap price for a month of bundle. Ideal for own use. At this price it's a must have deal
