I just took out this deal the other day but I noticed this has just been posted. Is there any difference between this and the last one?
I am seriously thinking of changing my network again. I have been with O2 a long time but the past 2-3 months the signal has been shockingly bad. I do stay in the middle of nowhere nowhere & halfway up a mountain (ok it not quite a mountain but it's just a kick in the ass away from being one ) but my signal is only H+ and 1-2 bars. Right up till a couple of months ago it was G4 & 3bars. I will try this network but if anyone has any recommendations I'd be happy to hear them x
Hope76 I got a message from O2 at the end of the summer saying...
" To improve your local network and help keep everyone connected, we're carrying out essential work in KY15 & KY14
While we do, your signal might come and go. We'll keep you posted though.
.The work will happen on 12 Sep.
.Keep tabs on our progress: v.o2.co.uk/K1T8i411"
My signal has definitely gone & sometimes none existent. Definitely not an improvement
fifehoney I would strongly recommend looking at the reviews for Lyca, they are abysmal. I wouldn't port my number to them. Assuming you can even get the sim activated (I've tried them 3 times and 2 times the sim wouldn't even activate). Haven't touched them for over a year and now I'm randomly getting charged each month out of the blue despite having no contract or active sim with them. So they're essentially stealing from me and the amount doesn't even relate to any contract we had in the past.
If you want to ignore me and try anyway, I strongly suggest paying with Paypal and not giving these jokers your bank details. I would only use them for a backup sim and do not port your number to them, the amount of people I've seen who said they lost their number to them is staggering.
For reference, I've tried Three, EE, Vodafone, Lebara, Talkhome, O2, Plusnet, IDmobile... probably some others I've forgotten. Some had issues like signal problems (Three).... but nothing compares to how incompetent and insanely bad my experiences with Lyca have been. They're in a different league. The signal is fine (Because they're using EE network now), but everything else. God forbid you need to speak to CS.
fifehoney i think EE is usually pretty good, but they're more expensive. Lebara is great also and I've had multiple Sims with them, can pay via PayPal and easy to cancel one month rolling contracts. They use the Vodafone network though, so it depends on the signal where you live. Best of luck!
5 days no signal or support...worst company I've ever dealt with. Wouldn't go back is it was 10p
Amazing offer definitely will get this SIM for that price can't go wrong thanks for sharing this excellent deal.
This is a fabulous deal and great value for money. I need a new sim with some data for my son. Thank you for sharing!
Fantastic offer for this Lyca Mobile No Contract. The price is really affordable with great data . Thank you for sharing this deal with us.
Thanks for sharing emmabeckz I wondered if I’ve done something wrong I’ve bought the deal but why don’t I get a SIM card I’ve bought the deal for my little grandson and he hasn’t got a sim in the new phone we just bought him can anyone help with this question??
Lounic1024 did you click use existing sim or new sim? If you don’t have a sim sent I’d suggest getting in touch with them and saying you don’t have an existing sim to use and they should send you one out. Hope that helps
Very poor signal and data.i used 2 months from Stratford. poor signal indoor. Outdoors full signal but I can’t used in Stratford central.
I wouldn’t bother. They might use the EE network but they definitely don’t get the full usage of it. Most of my calls go to answer phone even when I have a signal. The data comes and goes regularly during the day even when I’m in the same position I got 5G from earlier on that hour. Pay the extra and go with EE or Vodafone. The others just aren’t worth the hassle.
Diabolical customer service however just did a deal through quidco compare 12 GBP cashback 3GB data unlimited everything else cost 45p months 1 to 6
Looks like a good deal and uses ee network which is by looks of it cheaper then we itself
