hky from start to finish, the service was appalling, couldn’t make any calls straight through to any numbers, trying to get customer service was rediculous calls were being redirected constantly, I lasted two weeks spent £15 on top ups which wasn’t returned as I ended the contract
nangraham Thank you, ah, I only used a bit of customer service by social media/email and was using the 6p/6months offer.
Oddly a family member's sim also couldn't make/get calls without restarting the phone - wasn't sure if it was the phone, since my sim worked fine, but from your experience, I guess it was the sim.
I think their sims/service seem to be hit & miss.
nangraham I had the same experience with this company. I requested my number transfer to them and the disconnected my phone number for 2 weeks, saying was a faulty sim, make me buy a new lyca sim, didn't work and after 100s of calls and 2 weeks later they activated my number not on the new sim but the one they said was faulty
pamtay we used the 45p ones for our med cruise last year. They worked fab. Data on shore was great as we did not opt for expensive ship wifi. The EU roaming is worth it. Then cancel when back
TheSorceror thank you for the solid advice. I need something similar for the Far East
pamtay aah. You'd be better off buying a local sim when there. Roaming on UK sims in FE will be expensive. Or look at easyjet sim offering.
HarryK until your sim gets blocked and you need to port out after zero customer service..
Thank you for this fabulous finding. It seems to be a good and affordable deal. Thank you for sharing this deal with us

Heared these are a bad company and should be avoided ..thanks for posting this deal anyway
Everyone complains about their network at some point but honestly Lyca is the worse by far. I wouldn't be on that network if it paid me to.I don't know how there allowed to operate as there are a massive amount of complaints. When I was with them they claimed the payment failed (even though I had the money in my account and never attempted to take it) and just closed my account, never tried to take the payment again and never contacted me, I was in Barcelona at the time and was unable to use my phone or even receive calls. I moved over to ID mobile and it's been perfect for the past 4 months (3 have really upped their game in coverage) . Honestly you need to dodge a bullet with this network. Not to mention no 4G calling so calls are terrible and always have issues especially with 3G being turned off
I switched over to Lyca a few months ago, I always have a great signal and never experienced any issues.
I took out the £2 contract with Lyca and i have to be honest and say the network coverage is not the best. On top of that you can’t use your data whilst making a call.
Overall though i’m still on lyca as I think the savings are worth the drawbacks
Lyca and Lebara are great companies to use, I'm with Lyca and I find their service incredible.
Don't bother, worst company I have ever come across.
Cancelled with them but they still took money from my account.
The customer services number doesn't work and no way to contact them without a lyca number
used this last year at caravan in Mifi unit as WiFi there is non existent worked well thanks for sharing!
