I used to be with them for a while and now I left but I can go back with them because they've just changed networks from O2 to EE as of cracking dough people who can't afford the contract exactly same as the contract but page you go version
That’s a good deal , I know recently there have been deals for under £1. However this one has 100GB of data which is great . Giffgaff charge £20 per month for 80GB. So it’s half that price for first year then if you stay with Lyca it costs same as giffgaff but gives you extra 20GB
Thanks for sharing
This is such an amazing deal for just £10.00 p/m I can't wait for my current contract to end.
It depends what you’re using it for and if you’ve got home internet. I had a giffgaff deal with 80GB data thinking there’s no way I’d ever use that but I was wrong. However I do spend a lot of time doing survey sites online and at the time didn’t have home internet connection. I often would watch the soaps on it and use it as hotspot for friends that would visit (when they were out of data ). Taking all that into consideration I only ever ran out a couple of times.
I haven’t been able to access my data since it changed to EE . I’m going to have to look into how to change the settings manually because it’s not connecting automatically
Nickyhaslam77 that's bad. Off the top of my head the APN shouldn't have changed, so maybe just going into the phone menu and hit reset network settings.
I'm watching these mobile offers with eager eye's while waiting for my contract to end, great offers here.
Excellent. I'm getting rid of my Virgin Media broadband so I will get one of these Sims and use it solely for data saving myself £50pm. I moved a few years ago, I had Sky TV and BB. They couldn't supply BB to my new address so contract was cancelled and I used my O2 SIM solely for BB for almost 8 months. I stream a lot and only once came close to using my 100gig data.
Edited to say there is a summer deal on, unlimited data for £10
O2 reduced my neighbours monthly fee to £15.00 from £26.50 with my help and that was for 100gb this deal is stunning.
Murphy1956 what exactly does roaming mean because I’ve got an icon on phone screen I’ve not seen before and when I’ve checked it’s the roaming sign . I then got text message saying I’d used my data yet this phone was basic phone that can not access internet?
it was 3GB deal not 100GB , lol
chrisandjim28 I did have a lebara sim that I got for my partner. I wish I had kept that deal for myself because she has never had any problems with it and she’s into the third month now .
woe, thats well good for what you get! can i keep my number do you know please? Thanks for sharing!!
Lyca is scam. You will not able to make phone calls to European, they will try to make you buy bundle, also customer service from India, good luck if you got any problems
Good network and deals sadly moved to area where next to no coverage with these. If had coverage with them I’d be still on it.
So difficult to ever get their customer services dept to answer the phone, and if they do it's so difficult to either understand what they are saying or get anything done.
So I opted for the 1p Lebara package, which they extended for a further 6 months after charging incorrectly, sent £41.34 direct to my bank in advance. Unfortunately the 1p/mth has just ended, so now £6.90 for 12Gb, u/l minutes and texts. So searching for a better deal than current one, but still have no faith in lycra.
