Marlin Patchwork Armchair

A riot of colour and a place of peace and comfort, this unique armchair is an item of furniture we're proud to sell and you'll be proud to own. Made exclusively for Myakka in northern India by craftspeople with whom we enjoy a mutually beneficial fair trade relationship, the armchair is upholstered in geometric-printed velvet that is then ornamented on every side (except the back) with scallop-shaped applique patches of colourful fabric. The effect is amazing and the quality of the workmanship truly outstanding. Underneath, a web-sprung seat, comfortable padding and a solid hardwood frame ensure years of service and pleasure. The legs are made from mango wood and the chair is beautifully finished with brass upholstery tacks.
