Mendi Natural Seagrass Basket - Small

Beautifully handcrafted using sustainable seagrass by skilled artisans, this small basket is both practical and eye-catching. With a sturdy top an open weave it can be used as a stylish plant pot cover or for storage for toys, shoes, bedding etc and allow easy tucking away in any room.

Nkuku work with natural and recycled materials through sustainable methods of production and this shapes our collections. Many of their products are handmade from recycled materials, gathered the waste leftover from other industries including; cotton from discarded t-shirts, leather, metals and glass as well as recycled saris. Recycling allows NKUKU to create new and beautiful products with less impact on our environment.

The seagrass used to create the Mendi collection is sustainably sourced in Vietnam. As the basket is hand crafted by artisan producers, there can be slight imperfections which should be celebrated as a testament to the hard working, talented artisans who crafted this gorgeous unique piece.
