First released in 1997 and named after the first Olympic Marathon winner Spiridon Louis in 1896, this shoe stands for Nikes shift to focus on lightweight trainers. To create this kind of lightweight fit, Nike uses a technology called “Caged Zoom” for better responsive cushioning, providing more Zoom Air technology in the model by protecting the Zoom Air system with a Pebax cage.
