Marlene17 It's designed for use with use with immersion circulators for cooking food sous vide. Really you can use any container that you can put water into so that the minimum water leve of the immersion circulator is met, but these containers are designed specifically for them and have better insulation, size profile, etc. in comparison to your standard pots.
