You’ll start your South Africa holiday with four nights in Cape Town, at The Onyx hotel. What else would you do in the Cape Winelands, other than take a wine tour or enjoy a tasting session at one of the area's famed wine estates? With a complimentary wine-tasting experience included here, you can grab the chance to unwind in flavoursome style.

Next, you’ll be travelling in style aboard the Blue Train – one of the world's most luxurious trains, as you journey from Cape Town to Pretoria. With its fine dining, first-class service and wood-panelled interior, the 1,600-kilometre journey to the Jacaranda City will fly by. Underfloor heating, deluxe air-conditioned suites and an attentive butler service are some of the highlights on board as you take in the impressive dramatic scenery.

Finally, close your trip in the beautiful surrounds of the Savannah plains with three nights at Ekuthuleni Lodge, situated within the Welgevonden Game Reserve. With sunrise and sundown game drives conducted by experienced rangers, you'll venture out into magnificent landscapes to spot the elusive Big Five roaming freely in their natural habitat. With your own private open-air bathroom, cool off from the day's heat with a refreshing outdoor shower and enjoy some delicious dining on an open-air deck.

Please note that on The Blue Train it is compulsory to dress formally for dinner; gentlemen are requested to wear a jacket and tie for dinner, and ladies are requested to wear elegant evening wear. Please note that caviar is not included in your all-inclusive package.

Please also also note that subject to availably, your three-night stay at Ekuthuleni Lodge may be subbed for three nights at Tshwene Lodge, a similar style accommodation which is also located in the Welgevonden Game Reserve.

This holiday allows you to spread the cost of your break by paying only the deposit upfront. The remaining balance is due at a later date and is to be paid directly to the holiday supplier (the exact date will be stated on your booking confirmation).

Both your outbound and inbound flights are overnight, so please bear this in mind when planning the time you'll be away for.
