Please can you help me understand what are park extras ... after sun holidays codes holiday cost is 50 pound ...but extras takes it to 200 pounds for 4 nights ... £7 service charge per night ... £15 half borad per adult every night takes it to £120 for 2 adults and £90 for 3 kids for 4 nights so extras costs me £238 on top of £50 holiday cost

How does it work pls help

Also whats included in entertainment as it is free

danizia some dates are £9.50 per person some dates are £15 per person depending on dates (summer holiday dates are usually £15). Some places charge a peak supplement per person if its a popular time (my holiday in april was £9.50 pp but as its rugby tour and a popular date we paid £3.50 each extra). You then have to pay a service charge per night (for gas, electric etc). Then some places also charge for entertainment passes per person so this is for like evening entertainment, bingo, swimming etc depending on what they have on. Some places also give the option to add bed linen rather than taking your own. If you go on the club 950 sun website and browse through the parks it will show the prices on the dates available. Some places charge purely £9.50 per person with no extras but its usually on out of peak dates and they go within hours of the final code word being released.

I'm confused because holiday costs is £50 and extras above £200 so for me this southport place is no good and i should try find a different place where either no extras or cheaper than this

apologies new to this thing and trying to take kids away during school holidays if cheaper

danizia you will have to pay the service charge of £7 per night so £28, the entertainment is free, its saying half board is obigatory (i havent stayed in pontins before so maybe your not allowed your own food, you would have to phone them and ask) https://club950.co.uk/parks/1102/ it says here half board is available and on their website it does say southpart is a self catering park aswrll so you may be able to remove it. Give them a ring to find out.

No. You can now do it all online so no need to prove the codes. You only need the actual paper version of the codes if you’re sending application form through the post

Some places and dates have £9.50 per person prices, some are £15. Busier or more popular dates like school holidays tend to be £15 per person. Some parks will change extras for entertainment or bedding etc. Some places like pontins ir butlins will charge extra for meals took. There are dates and places that are £9.50 only but they’re more mid week when kids are at school

Yeah party of 4 minimum is still pretty cheap tho. £40 for 4 nights for up to 4 people. We normally pay 200 a week for holiday when kids are at school for 2 adults

StephanieAngl Yeah thats the cheapest holiday though the others also have an added £3.50 per day plus plus plus - these things are always a fiddle like verything in life nothing is truly free!

Not dissing ye Steph keep the heid doll - good post nevertheless - interesting and spent a few minutes checking it out so nothing is ever truly bad everything has an upside the way i try and look at life!
