Get an NUS Student Card with £4 ECareers Course

Available from GoGroopie
£4
£9
Comment22

⚠️ UPDATE FROM Tom - This trick is no longer working as ECareers is not recognised by NUS any more. We are currently looking for alternatives.

You can get an NUS student card even if you're an adult.

STEP 1 - Go to GoGroopie and buy a £4 ECareers course

STEP 2 - Go to ECareers, apply the voucher and buy the course

STEP 3 - Go to NUS website, apply and buy the card

AFTER you have bought your GoGroopie voucher, just go to the NUS website and order the NUS card through their site.

The total price for a one year NUS card should be about £16.

If you're still stuck, here's a step-by-step tutorial.

How does GoGroopie work?

  • You buy a voucher from GoGroopie. This is then emailed to you (check your spam!). Then, you go to a third-party retailer's website and apply the voucher code. This retailer then sends it to you.

I posted this yesterday but there's been bugs & it didn't upload 😩 Anyways, you don't even need to spend the £4 on the course. NUS don't check if the person is actually studying or not. Alot of people just put in their nearest college and still get an NUS card. I must say, NUS deals are terrible now. There's barely any good offers. Not worth the money. Unidays is more widely recognised now.

I agree, they don’t check up on you, I put ofcourse. Only did it so I could get Amazon Prime free for 6 months but have used it in Top Shop to get 10% off, got strange look from the young girl on the till, don’t see anything wrong with being a 50 year old student 😁

Rochycoo Yeah they don’t check. They’re getting £12 for a one year card so what is it to them if someone is actually studying or not. They only want the money for the card. And Lol hahaha I can imagine the looks you must have got, but oh well, there’s no shame in it! You can ‘study’ at ANY age! Education has no age limit! Enjoy your NUS discounts!!

I had to verify mine through my University, your absolutely right. I'm glad, I hope it stops some of the scrounging people, who try commiting fraud.

Is it true I don’t have to have an student email? As I have just finished my college and they have got rid of my account so can’t access my emails anymore!

Not sure. I'm still paying every month. I need to check it out myself. You can email them and find out.

Not working in 2020, they should delete or update this post. I paid and didn't get refund either. Looks dodgy site now. Once you bought and enrolled there is no option to get money back and they will not say whether you will get NUS or Totum card or not. Only after starting subscription you will come to know and once started, no money back. Cheat and Fraud!!!
