Kick start your beautiful break with a warm welcome at Grange Trekking’s enchanting accommodation, where you’ll spend a stay in either a charming shepherd’s hut or cosy sleeping pod! With the shepherd’s hut as your brilliant base, equipped with a double and single bed, as well as a wood burning fire inside – perfect for keeping toasty on chillier days! Alternatively, with a stay in the glamping pod, you’ll sleep soundly with a king size bed, an electric heater, chest of drawers and table. Regardless of where you hit the hay, your accommodation will have bedding, access to parking, a campfire, compost loo and benches outside – ideal for dining al fresco! You’ll also have access to running water, a toilet and shower block as well as free wi-fi in reception. Please note: We recommend bringing a torch, towel, toilet roll, and drinking water. Each morning, you’ll rise and shine to the sound of birdsong and incredible views of the surrounding landscape. Feeling peckish? Why not arrange breakfast and evening meals at an additional cost with Grange Trekking – ideal for those looking for a hassle-free getaway! With Grange Trekking as your brilliant base, you’ll be nestled amongst the beautiful Black Mountains on the boundary of the counties of Powys and Gwent and close to Hay-on-Wye and Abergavenny – so the perfect place for an adventure! Explore the surroundings on foot, bicycle or why not head out on a pony trek and see the landscape from a new perspective with a charming companion! Those keen to keep active can enjoy wild swimming, canoeing in white water rapids or for something a little more relaxing - play a game of golf with a hell of a view, kick back with a spot of fishing. With the wonderful Welsh landscape at your fingertips, spend some time watching out for birds, wildlife and gaze upon star studded stars each night! History hawks will be pleased to know there’s an array of historic sites to explore, take a trip to one of the many captivating castles nearby from Bronllys to Dinas to Skenfrith Castle. If manicured gardens are your thing, discover the gorgeous grounds of National Trust’s Weir Garden or head into Aberagavenny, a charming and historic town home to Linda Vista Gardens.
