WORX WX178.1 18V (20V MAX) AI Cordless Drill Driver with X2 2.0Ah Batteries

Available from ebay

Comment1

The revolutionary WORX WX178.1 AI Drill with advanced intelligence technology embeds sophisticated electronic controls in a powerful and handy 20V drill, making every task easier, faster and safer.

The motorized BitLock chuck automatically centres and tightens the but up to 30% tighter than manual chucks, making jammed bits and slippage a thing of the past.

With the SafeDrive technology, screws are driven full speed and electronically stopped perfectly flush of the surface, regardless of working material and screw size. While dramatically increasing work speed, SafeDrive eliminates the risks of over-driving: no more damage of the work piece, unusable anchor plugs, broken bolts, slipped threads and damaged screw heads.

The PulseAssist technology makes drilling on otherwise impossible surfaces - such as metal pipes or ceramic tiles - a breeze. Furthermore, PulseAssist makes it possible to drive out screws with a worn out head.

Your purchase includes:

x1 WX178.1

x2 2.0Ah batteries

x1 Charger

x1 Carry case

Its a good drill. I have this and 2 more worx drills. This one is very light but yet powerful it also has a mode where it can remove screws better if they get slightly rounded off. I managed to remove a couple of screw that wouldn't be removed this way. The batteries alone cost £30-£35 each so thats £60-£70. The original price is over priced but the deal is good
