Mrmac Blue Peter is on the CBBC Channel on Thursdays at 5:30pm then repeated at 7:30pm also on the CBBC Channel incase anyone has missed it at 5:30pm. I always make sure that I am home before 5:30pm on Thursdays so that I can watch Blue Peter as its my favourite show.
THis is brilliant iveways wanted a blue Peter badge growing up I was addicted to the show
It used to be my life's dream to get a Blue Peter badge, thank you for sharing the tips - they would have really helped me in my day!
I remember a girl in my class had a blue peter badge for writing in and saying she had the same as one of the presenters She used to wear it everyday. I was gutted
I always wanted one too as a kid too.
My son has managed to get 3 different one‘s and to be honest I’m a bit jealous.
I can’t thank this scheme enough. Firstly its a way to keep the kids busy making something, or writing in. Then they feel proud when they are rewarded with their badges.
Plus my kids were young when they got the badges & cards and they are valid until they are 16 so we have been able to go on extra days out which we might not have otherwise been able to afford to go paying full price as I often took advantage off the attractions letting two badge holders in for the price of one adult. The attraction also keep changing.
Having read around not everyone who writes in gets a badge.
My tips would be
Get the kids to hand write the letters but make sure you Add the details name, age and address clearly so it can be read.
I think sending in photo’s helps of what your child has made or photo’s of them making it or doing the activity if it’s a green badge.
Wow I always wanted one of these as a child and now I get the opportunity for my child to have one
I used to love watching blue peter as a kid and always wanted a badge but theirs so much kids tv choice these days I don’t think my kids even know what it is.
I definitely agree as I know that children love to watch Blue Peter and send in items, pictures and other stuff to earn their badges. Children can also earn the new sports badge by trying a sport but there isn't long left for them to claim the 2019 Blue Peter Sports Badge.
