Unfortunately things are getting harder not easier and hugs are much needed to keep me going 
, there seems to be something wrong, which is getting progressively worse daily, and hubby is now in extreme pain in his back and hip on top of the pain from his broken leg and I'm feeling pretty helpless, I think they are arranging for someone more senior to come out but the trouble is the NHS is soooo busy, they said in the meantime to get on to his Doctor and ask for some even stronger painkillers to tide him over until they can get out and guess what, they won't prescribe them without a telephone appointment, which he can't get till Thursday 
it's a joke!!!

did you try calling 111 sometimes they book appointments too, not sure it would be faster though, it all sounds terrible and I can't even imagine what you've been going through, sending my support xx
