Free samples are available on all of our fabrics and slats. Simply find the blind you like the look of, scroll down the product page and click the ‘order free sample’ button.
Your free sample will be added to the basket ready for you to checkout. You can carry on browsing, adding as many samples to your basket as you like.
When you’re ready, checkout – delivery is free too – and relax, our samples will be on their way to you in no time.
Why order samples?
We always recommend ordering samples to ensure you fall in love with the fabric or slat. Screen resolution and brightness settings vary and you may find some fabrics look a little different in real life to how they appear on a screen.
You can hold a sample in your hands, feel the fabrics, the weave and see the opacity before your very eyes, something you can’t recreate online.
We’ve made every effort to accurately portray the fabric realistically, but you can never be too careful.
Also, we find that giving yourself a choice really means you can find a blind that you love. The beauty of made to measure blinds is that they’re created just for you – there is a choice which is totally unobtainable with readymade alternatives.
What to do when your samples arrive
Your samples will be with you in just a few days, and you’ll be able to start narrowing down your selection right away. We’ve done our best to demonstrate the blackout and dimout properties of each fabric in our pictures, but you may find the fabric reacts differently in your window.
This is because some windows may not get direct sunlight, or you may be near a street lamp, or an object may cast a shadow on the window, so we like to make sure you test it out yourself.
Why did I receive more samples than I ordered?
We try to be as helpful as we can, and so when we select your samples, we sometimes add in a couple of similarly coloured samples to help you decide.
You may find you prefer them, you may find they confirm your decision on the sample you ordered, but either way, having options is good and we like to provide you with as much help as possible.
What do I do once I’ve found a sample I like?
Great news!
You’ve fallen in love with the fabric or slat and you’re ready to order. Simply visit our website, type in the name of the fabric (found on the sticker on the back of your sample), measure your window and order. It couldn’t be easier!
AliceBell64468 my very good friend Tarquin will be very, very grateful to me for the samples of the fabric that I get for him. Many thanks from the bottom of my heart to you my friend for finding and sharing another fantastic freebie with all of us. I highly and definitely recommend the freebie to everybody. Tarquin has taken over the arts and crafts mantal from his Uncle Mr Collins who sadly passed away a few months ago.
I am glad you and your friend can find good use of the crafts. I am sorry to hear of the passing of your friend Mr Collins also.
I don't remember ordering from this one so it's a nice find. (I really should make a list) Thanks for sharing.
I know I’m the same, I could do with making a list even if it’s on the notes on my phone lol. Many of them you can order numerous times as well which is good of them!
Fantastic find, think these will be arriving in a box though I did refrain from ordering one of everything!
Well this is refreshing: a sample of anything and everything, to help you decide your preference.
Will hang on to these details for a future purchase l need to make, and hope that it will still be available in the future.
Excellent spot.
Fab freebie! I love collecting fabrics. I use these for customising clothing and interiors etc. Thanks again for sharing this with us.
