How to Put All Your Loyalty Cards Onto Your Phone in One App
Stocard is a free app that lets you put all your loyalty cards into one place. Simply scan or upload a photo of your loyalty card. It’s a great way of freeing up your phone and wallet.

If you have lots of loyalty cards and apps, you can combine them all into Stocard. Stocard is a free app that makes it easy to take photos of your loyalty cards and store them all in one place.
I have many loyalty cards and apps: ASDA Rewards, Tesco Clubcard, Sainsbury's Nectar, MyWaitrose, Co-Op Membership, Iceland Bonus Card, Lidl Plus... And that's just the supermarkets.
These days, most reward schemes are via digital apps rather than plastic cards so the problem is not so much a bulging wallet, but a bulging digital app library on the phone. It can be a frustrating experience standing at the tills trying to remember the name of the app, opening your bar code (sometimes fiddly thanks to bad design!) and scanning it. Stocard offers a better alternative as everything is in one place.
How does Stocard work?
- Get Stocard here
- Press the '+' button
- Search for the name of the shop
- Or press '+ Other Card'
- Scan your physical loyalty card bar code, or
- Enter your membership number manually, or
- Upload an image of your loyalty card from a photo
- If your loyalty card is on an app, take a screenshot of it on your phone and save to photos. Then upload this screenshot to Stocard.
- That's it! Your loyalty card will be saved to Stocard
- Next time you're at the till, open Stocard and tap the name of the brand e.g. Tesco
- The bar code will appear which you scan as normal
Benefits of Stocard
- It's free. No hidden fees, no subscriptions. You don't even need to sign up for an account.
- You put all your loyalty cards in one place
- One tap to open the loyalty card and scan it
- You can delete other apps if you prefer to free up space on your phone
Extra Features of Stocard
It seems that Stocard has more features in Germany than the United Kingdom. The website says you can buy discounted gift cards and earn extra rewards, however I have not found these on the app in the United Kingdom. There is a lottery feature for which you can enter tickets to win but it is not clear what the prize is, nor when it's drawn, and how winners are chosen (if you like free competitions, we have hundreds on Latest Deals).
Stocard also announced a partnership with Klarna in 2022, but I've yet to see anything come of it within the app.
You Can Use Stocard For Any Barcode, Not Just Loyalty Cards
I use Stocard for extra things too such as library cards, swimming club, car rental cards, and pretty much anything with a bar code. It doesn't matter what the card is. If it has a bar code you can add it manually.
How to Add Loyalty Cards to Apple Wallet with Stocard
If you have an iPhone you can use Stocard to add loyalty cards to Apple Wallet. After you have uploaded a loyalty card to Stocard, press the three dots on the top-right '...' > Add to Apple Wallet. The only problem is that within Apple Wallet, the top of the card has the Stocard logo rather than that of the brand.
It is frustrating that most brands still do not offer the ability to add loyalty cards to Apple Wallet (it is clearly easy to do) but Stocard offers a simple workaround.
How to Add Stocard as a Widget on iPhone iOS
After you have the Stocard app installed on Apple iPhone iOS, you can add it as a widget.
Open your phone and press and hold anywhere on the screen to enter 'jiggly mode' (when the app icons jiggle about).
On the top-left of the screen press the + icon.
Search Stocard for the widget options. Add it to your homepage.
Notes from Tom
I've been using Stocard since it launched in 2012. It's improved a lot since it started but the core function has always remained the same: Upload your cards to one place. It used to be a bit slow which made it difficult to use, but over the years the developers have done a great job of upgrading it. Stocard is now super fast and reliable - faster than going into the individual loyalty apps.
Stocard is especially helpful if you share loyalty cards with family. Lady Deals and I share our Tesco Clubcard, MyWaitrose card etc. so as to build points faster, but we don't necessarily want to both have apps for them. You can scan any card into Stocard which makes it simple to share.
Can you upload credit or debit cards to Stocard?
No, Stocard is not designed for uploading credit and debit cards.
I think that’s a brilliant idea I have run out of places to keep my loyalty cards thank you for share this I have never heard of it I will be certainly using it.
I have been using Stocard for a long time now. However, during a trip to Tesco yesterday I was told by the checkout lady and supervisor that they do not accept your Tesco clubcard on the Stocard app. They said we have to download Tesco's own app. I advised I'd been using the Stocard app with Tesco for months and have never had an issue but they were adamant!
Specialk101 I'd be more concerned how they knew you were using stocard unless of course you weren't at self scan.
I thought this looks like a great app. Just wondering, as my paranoid mother went on about the data protection?
Been using stocard for years. You can even upload pictures to make identifying card easier. Even have the kids library cards on it.
Been using stocard for many years now. Even have my library card stored on it, you can take a picture of any card if one isn't available.
