Starbucks Offers Free Drinks to NHS Workers on Dec 5
- Starbucks offering free tall drinks to NHS workers for one day only
- Offer valid across most UK stores on December 5
- NHS staff must present valid NHS ID to claim the freebie
- Starbucks also delivering coffee and snacks to hospitals and ambulance stations
- Not all stores participating, so it’s advised to call ahead
Starbucks is gifting NHS workers free drinks this week as a thank you for their tireless efforts throughout the year. The coffee chain is offering a complimentary tall drink at participating stores across the UK on December 5, 2024. NHS staff can choose from a range of drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, and more, with a typical tall drink costing around £3.25.
To claim their free beverage, NHS workers need to show a valid NHS ID at the till—Blue Light Cards won't be accepted. It's important to note that the promotion is for one day only, and not all Starbucks locations are participating, so NHS staff are encouraged to check with their local branch in advance.
In addition to the drink giveaway, Starbucks is also delivering thousands of cans of Doubleshot Espresso, instant coffee sachets, vegan brownies, and chocolate-covered pretzels to various hospitals and ambulance services across the country. The full list of hospitals and ambulance services receiving the deliveries includes numerous NHS Trusts in areas like Cumbria, Powys, and London.
This annual giveaway, which started in 2019, aims to show appreciation for the NHS workforce, with Starbucks UK’s General Manager Alex Rayner commenting, "We’re proud to offer this giveaway for the fifth year running to say a small thank you to NHS staff for their remarkable service."
Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk, says: “It’s great to see businesses like Starbucks giving back to NHS workers, especially during the holiday season. A free drink is a lovely way to show appreciation for those who work tirelessly for the community.”
