Lidl has unveiled its festive opening hours and exciting deals to make Christmas shopping seamless for customers this year. As per tradition, Lidl stores will be closed on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day, with most also shutting on Boxing Day, except those inside the M25 and Wales.
Shoppers are encouraged to check their local store’s timings using the Lidl Plus app or the online store finder. For a more relaxed shopping experience, avoid peak times between 12pm and 2pm, and instead opt to visit between 8am–10am or after 6pm.
From December 19th to January 1st, Lidl Plus members can access exclusive seasonal deals, including discounts on Deluxe Prawn Toasties, Fish & Chip Rösti Baskets, and party-ready wines like New Zealand Premium Sauvignon Blanc.
In the spirit of giving, Lidl’s Christmas Toy Bank initiative allows customers to donate toys, games, books, and puzzles until December 16th. The donations will go to children in need, aiming to deliver over 100,000 toys this year.
Lidl has consistently championed affordability and social responsibility. As part of the Schwarz Group, Lidl sources two-thirds of its products from British suppliers and employs over 34,000 staff across its 960 UK stores.
“Lidl’s festive offers and toy bank are a brilliant way to make the season special for both shoppers and those in need. The early morning and evening shopping tips are also handy for avoiding the Christmas rush.”, says Tom Church, Co-Founder of LatestDeals.co.uk.
