We thought this was a fantastic idea at first and then the standing charge was shocking for the small amount of benefit this gives. I would advice anyone to look at different accounts there is on the market that are free instead of wasting a standard charge each month. One lesson for the kids and parents.

My granddaughters had this account and at the time thought it was great to help them save. After a few months and paying a standard charge each month at their low amount we thought this was not a good idea. We now have set up a savings account and a normal account free and no standing charges.
