Buyer's guide

Planning a day out to the Good Food Show? Don't spend more than you need with our money-saving tips. It's one of those events where the variety of cuisines on offer can make your stomach and wallet grumble. Every year, food lovers flock to find gourmet delights and inspiration from celebrity chefs like Mary Berry and Tom Kerridge. Before you even step in, look for discounts and vouchers online to save on your ticket. Often, early bird deals are available if you book in advance, and occasionally special promotional codes can cut costs further. Don’t overlook group deals too. It might be worth roping in some fellow foodies, as sometimes these are significantly cheaper than individual prices. Child tickets can sometimes be less, or bundled with adult offers.

Once you're at the show, budgeting for on-site purchases is crucial. Food tastings can be dangerously tempting. Set a budget for any culinary gadgets or gourmet ingredients. We've heard stories of shoppers who've reveled in free samples only to find themselves splurging beyond their means once their interest was piqued. Watch out for bulk purchase discounts—you can score savings on artisanal goods when bought in quantities. Finally, bring your own reusable bags, as they not only save on plastic waste but might also save a few extra pence from buying them on the day. Trust us, those little savings add up when you're navigating a sprawling event like the Good Food Show.

Goodfoodshow sales

  • Christmas Sale: Think festive offers in December, perfect for gift-hunting. Watch out for gift bundles at reduced rates.
  • Tickets Early Bird Offer: Early buyers for the annual shows often snag lower prices. Benefit by planning ahead.
  • Bank Holiday Offers: Sometimes, during UK bank holidays, special promotions pop up with some tasty discounts.
  • Membership Discount: Members often receive exclusive deals, free gifts even, when buying tickets.
  • Voucher Code Promotions: Throughout the year, scattered opportunities to nab event vouchers that provide some off entrance fees.
  • Group Booking Deals: Happy to go with friends? Group deals available often make it cheaper per head.

These sales can vary year by year, always take a peek at their schedule page or sign-up for a newsletter for updates.

Delivery & Returns

At Goodfoodshow, getting your gourmet goodies delivered feels both fancy and a little frugal. Delivery costs vary, depending on how extravagant your splurging gets—think "free delivery for orders above a certain spend"! Just trying to save every penny you can? Be ready for sobering postage fees on smaller orders. Don't fret if a culinary misadventure happens; they've structured their return policy to give your unwanted items a smooth ticket back to HQ. However, returning the fanciest macaroons could cost your wallet more calories than pounds unless an error materialises. It’s a good excuse for another kitchen experiment!

I have been to this show in Birmingham and I had an absolutely fantastic time and it was well worth the money. Next year I am going to do the vip one and hopefully it will be well worth the extra. There are lots of famous chefs there and I would recommend it to anyone who is a foodie . Great experience.
