La Famiglia Rana is an Authentic Pasta Product
La Famiglia Rana is a prominent manufacturer of pasta and other Italian food. Giovanni Rana was the owner after whose name the brand was established. He was born in 1937 and at 13 years of age joined his brother at the bakery near San Giovanni di Lupatoto. Around 1960 he started to make tortelloni. Soon he started the delivery service of his pasta. In 1962 Pastifico Rana enlarged his business from a one-man business to a bigger business. Giovanni was careful about his secrets of success. He was particular about the ingredients used - Parmigiano Reggiano, local eggs, and Parma ham.
With the arrival of Gian Luca Rana, Giovanni's son, the company entered its modern era. He showed dedication to innovation in the craft of pasta making by opening a research and development center and a museum on pasta in Verona. In the year 2005, the Rana Pasta arrived in the United Kingdom where it was received with a warm welcome. The UK was filled with people who wanted to taste authentic Italian pasta. With the rebranding, La Famiglia Rana came with a unique name for the people and a wider audience. All the products are packaged in a plastic pouch and sealed with a zipper.
The product ranges of them are:
Fresh Filled Pasta. Pasta is one of Italy's most favorite and famous dishes. This pasta has two parts, firstly the outer covering and then the inside filling. The outside covering is made out of Soft Wheat Flour, Eggs, and Durum Wheat Semolina. The pasta filling is made of many ingredients like tomato Pesto, fat hard cheese, virgin olive oil, and many other fillings. The fresh-filled pasta takes only two minutes to finish cooking. The making of the sauces is based on the use of extra virgin olive oil which gives the sauce a solid texture to it. The basil sauce comes in a light green colored container which provides the brand name and food description.
Finish-at-Home Kits. The brand has launched its finish-at-home kits in the beef lasagne flavor. This dish is ready-to-heat food finished with mozzarella cheese and basil pesto dress. One can just heat the food in a microwave for 5 minutes and then drizzle the sachet of pesto over it.
