MacBook is a brand of notebook computers manufactured by Apple Inc. from May 2006 to February 2012 and relaunched in 2015. It replaced the iBook series and 12-inch PowerBook series of notebooks as a part of the Apple-Intel transition from PowerPC. Specifications for the MacBook line -- including the MacBook Air and the MacBook Pro -- are found on the Apple website.

Some people love their MacBooks and wouldn't trade them for the world. Other people find that they prefer a different type of computer or have had bad experiences with their MacBooks.

Here are some pros and cons of MacBooks:

Pros:

-They're lightweight and portable, making them perfect for travel.

-They have long battery life.

-They're easy to use.

-They have a sleek design.

-They come with a variety of helpful applications pre-installed.

Cons:

-They're more expensive than some other types of computers.

-Some people find the trackpad difficult to use.

-They can be slow when running multiple applications at the same time.

-They're not as widely compatible with software and peripherals as PCs.

MacBook Air

Image

The MacBook Air is a line of laptop computers developed and manufactured by Apple Inc. It consists of a full-size keyboard, a machined aluminium casing, and a thin light structure. The Air is available with a screen size of (measured diagonally) 13.3-inch (33.782 cm), with different specifications produced by Apple.

The Air was originally released in January 2008 with a 13.3-inch screen and an aluminium case. The second generation was released in October 2010 with a redesigned body. The third generation was released in June 2013 with a retina display. The fourth-generation was released in October 2018.

MacBook Air 2020

The 2020 MacBook Air has a number of new features, including a new keyboard, a faster processor, and improved graphics. The most notable change, however, is the addition of a new Retina display. This gives the MacBook Air a much sharper and more vibrant display, making it ideal for use as a portable media player or laptop.

MacBook Air M1

The new MacBook Air with the M1 chip is Apple's most affordable laptop. It's also the lightest and most portable MacBook Air yet, making it the perfect laptop for students and busy professionals on the go. The M1 chip gives the MacBook Air incredible performance, and the new Retina display is stunning. The only downside is that the battery life isn't as long as some other laptops on the market.

MacBook Pro

Image

The MacBook Pro is a line of Macintosh portable computers introduced in January 2006 by Apple Inc. It is the high-end model of the MacBook family and is currently available in 13- and 15-inch screen sizes. A 17-inch version was available between April 2006 and June 2012.

The first generation MacBook Pro replaced the PowerBook G4 and was released on January 10, 2006. The 15-inch model was the first to be released, and the 17-inch model followed two months later. Both received several updates and Core 2 Duo processors later that year.

The product's second iteration, known as the "unibody" model, has a more polished aluminium case on the outside and a glass trackpad that does not separate from the main body. It was introduced in October 2008 in 13- and 15-inch screen sizes. A 17-inch version was sold until June 2012. The third generation, introduced in June 2012, added a Retina Display and a thinner form factor.

MacBook Pro 2020

The 2020 MacBook Pro is a major step forward for Apple's pro-level notebook. It features a new design with a larger display, more powerful internals, and a revamped keyboard. The biggest change, however, is the addition of a new Touch Bar that replaces the function keys. This new Touch Bar is a multi-touch enabled OLED strip that provides contextual controls based on the apps you're using. It's a major change for the MacBook Pro, and it's one that will likely take some time to get used to. But, overall, the 2020 MacBook Pro is a significant upgrade from its predecessor.

MacBook Pro 2021

The new MacBook Pro is more powerful than ever, with a new M1 chip and up to 16GB of RAM. The design is nearly identical to the previous model, but the screen is now brighter and more colourful. The speakers have been improved, and the keyboard is now quieter. There are also new ports, including Thunderbolt 4 and an SD card reader.
