Aldis Apple Cider Vinegar
Ask a Question
Has anyone tried the apple cider vinegar, the one that looks like the Braggs Apple cider vinegar, from Aldi? Just wondering if it’s any good. It’s only £1.99 so it’s a lot cheaper than the Braggs one
I bought some, not sure if its from Lidls or Aldi but I think it was made in Spain and contained 'the mother' and it's got some sort of dark residue floating in it that you can disperse by shaking so I guess I'll have to fish it out. I've bought non-refined cider vinegars before like Aspalls before without this issue. It's like the bacteria have formed this weird sort of husk in the liquid. So not very impressed so far, basic quality I'd say. It's been made to look like the Braggs one but like many such products in Aldi and Lidl probably not the same quality as the product it is mimicking. I must admit I sort of prefer the non-organic apple cider vinegars but do buy vinegars with the mother in as they are meant to be a little healthier.
