AliExpress's $1.99 Three Items for £6.20 Delivered (Via App)

Money Saving

Been finding this quite good as the items are of quality and worth buying as long as you're willing to wait 2-3 weeks.

Can't post this as a deal since the items vary and it's each one's picks.

That soap box is actually pretty smart as it keeps the soap dry, the flashlight for that price is decent, the hair/carpet scraper is very good (but as you use it it becomes less effective), etc.

However, if you buy a USB charger don't just press add or chances are you'll end up with a Euro plug charger (😬). Click the item and see if they have it with the U.K. plug.

Quality from Ali Express ? (Chinese tat ) you are easily pleased . Ideal LD member ☹️. Presumably you had to hype them up 😒to gain an extra 10% (or whatever ) discount on future purchases ? Which will still be Chinese Tat ? Oh Dear 🙄. Luckily you had no credibility to lose .

This never works on the app for me. I try to add items but it never registers. I can do all the other stuff on the app without problem.

Aliexpress is all levels of quality. From unusable tat of inferior quality to high quality goods that are fit for purpose. How you work out which is which can be difficult but I've had some fantastic stuff from aliexpress.

Even £10k carbon fibre bicycles are coming from Chinese factories and they manufacture most electronic components.

BonzoBanana That's odd. I'd uninstall and then install the app again to see if it fixes the issue.

I had stopped using AliExpress when they introduced payable taxes (🙄), but then realized some stuff still turns out cheaper via AE than anywhere else.

a.aliexpress.com/_mPQgljY I recently bought two clocks from here and they turned up within about 11 days and were very happy with them.

Pfs I bought a Sony Dream Machine Clock Radio ICF-C218 around 2021 for £6 and use it just to see the time (12hr format).

This clock radio is from October 2, 2001 (according to Amazon) and still going strong while newer ones like Asus reportedly start fading after a year.

I have the gray one which is normally sold on eBay U.K. whereas the black one seems to only be in the U.S./Canada. I don't mind the color (although I'd have preferred it in black).

By the way, it has an internal battery so even without being plugged to an extension the time is saved (pretty cool).

Pfs Very informative. Just the time does it for me.

I'd like to post deals of that Sony Clock Radio, but good prices are via eBay auctions so it's not really "postable."

I’ve bought a few things from here but it’s all been utter rubbish. No quality at all. But I suppose you get what you pay for

TracyStorrie I've had the opposite experience.

Is pretty dang good, I'm quite satisfied with what I bought from those $1.99 bundles and AE in general.
