Anyone Else Had Problems with Evri

Every time I order to my address yes I do they are a joke my last order was out for delivery then nothing you email them and they never get back in touch

Never had a problem with them. Last delivery person for my area was brilliant and would either leave in safe place or bring it back later or next day. Her replacement is proving that's he just as good and tracking is always spot on.

Not with Evri M but did have a parcel said to have been delivered when it wasn't, they even had a signature which was not mine

Luckily the parcel arrived two days later, a little worse for wear, i suspected it had been delivered to a wrong address and then re directed back to me

I won't name the company as it was a one off , but not Evri , saying that i have heard bad reports about them in the news and online

Yes i had problem with my order from Cult Beauty when I received all items were wet then I call Cult beauty team they advised me to send all item back then they gave 10% on top those items I bought on Black Friday sale then another parcel I received which family member ordered Chicken food that Box was also wet thank God nothing happened to Chicken food because of plastic bag so no complain just next time we will ask which company are delivering our parcels will avoid

I have problems with all delivery companies time to time. There is no clear winner for me they all have problems. I don't even use Royal Mail second class service anymore it is so slow and unreliable. To send my own parcels I'm not really using Evri that much as their pricing isn't very good at the moment but because Yodel have warnings on Ebay I am using Evri a bit for some parcels just recentlyso we shall see how it goes but until Yodel had capacity issues maybe about a week ago I was only using Yodel and Royal Mail. I've sent 1 or 2 via Evri in the last 7 days. As for receiving parcels I had one from Aliexpress that was meant to be collected from customs by Royal Mail but never was or someone just stole it at customs as it never left customs. I've been refunded for the items in the parcel now. I'm sort of hoping it turns up late and I get it all for free but that is extremely unlikely I realise.

I had an email saying they were going to deliver on Sunday between 8-9pm then sent another message to say it was delayed for another week. It then randomly appeared 2 days later with no knock at the door. Other than that they have been fine.

This company was previously known as Hermes, but changed their name in 2022. Possibly, because the 'company faced allegations of bad customer service and parcel mishandling'. Maybe they'll change their name again soon, as Evri is getting a lot of negative reviews -

Mostly I have had a good experience, but my last 2 deliveries were left outside, I was home, but no one rang bell or knocked, one if them had blown behind my neighbours bin.

Not gonna lie I’ve never had a bad outcome with evri, people blame evri as a whole but for me it’s not, it’s your local driver etc, my local delivery is so good and never any issues

Our Evri delivery driver is really great, she is friendly and reliable and I have a bottle of wine waiting for her in the hall! In the past we had a 'short lived' driver who was absolutely awful but it has been great since he left.

One of the worst couriers for me now that I think about it, is DPD. I don't get much from them but when I do it seems extremely problematic. I remember them leaving my parcel with a post office out in a village 8 miles away from where I live so a 16 mile journey. I complained and asked for it to be redelivered and it was about 10 days before I got it. I really dread seeing DPD as the courier but luckily I rarely get anything delivered from them. I think I have had one or two issues with TNT as well despite very rarely getting anything using them. There is no courier I can think of that I would call good. I also remember having a new TV delivered many years ago where the courier parked outside and I'm on a hill and he pushed the TV box too hard and it slid out of the back of the truck and hit the ground at high speed so I had to have a new TV delivered. That was another courier again probably a specialist in larger item deliveries. If I was trying to say which courier was the best of a bad bunch I would probably say Parcelforce currently which isn't to be confused with Royal Mail letter post deliveries. Yet Parcelforce often goes by the nickname 'Parcelfarce'.

My Evri people have always been great.

But my son worked in the background for them a couple of years ago, and he says management are an absolute joke.

Sadly delivery drivers for all companies are under ridiculous pressure and time constraints to deliver parcels, and get paid a pittance for each one

Just found out today an order I sent to my son had been returned to sender as apparently he moved ! That was a surprise both to him and me, I now have to chase a refund from the company, although they are showing the order status as being delivered.

Only had a problem with them once, they delivered to the house nearly opposite, completely different number. All the other deliveries have been okay.

Don't normally have much issue with Evri, other than they are a bit slow . Yodel on the other hand in my area you are lucky to get your parcel .

Had another delivery today and guess what it's been delivered just not to me fuming

I am pretty lucky. My Evri driver is very reliable. And if something is not right, she contact her manager for me to sort it out

Yes! A parcel was supposed to be delivered yesterday and so I ensured that I was home for the delivery slot. However, they tried to deliver earlier in the day so it was missed. Annoying!

I have a friend who loathes Evri cos it always goes horribly wrong for him.My mum has the same girl who is ultra reliable.Just depends who you get I suppose.

And again today have parcel meant to be delivered 10 mins into the two hour window unable to deliver

So far so good with my local driver, however they have a very bad name. Had a delivery yesterday, wasn’t informed by them only the company purchased from. No knock at the door, luckily checked emails.
