Has Anyone Else Won a Cadbury Easter Egg?
Ask a Question
I was pleasantly surprised to receive an email from Cadbury Direct saying I had won a large Twirl Easter Egg, I have entered loads of these giveaways in the past and its the first time I have been selected. I must admit I thought it was just a way of getting your email. But thought you have to be in it to win it Have you recently won anything ?
Hi beccatavender l won one too however when l had to put my details in to have it delivered via a code it said it was £9.99? So l thought wow it must be a very large egg with a few twirl bars or a little collection....Nope it was one egg and one twirl...Yes it was free (maybe l should be grateful) but £9.99 that must of been a miss print as it is only £3.99 in Wilko in yummy orange
Pinkspirit exact same for me. I checked weight and what you get and it is only £2.50 in Sainsbury's, nectar price, and only £3.25 without nectar! How they have the brass neck to charge £9.99 on the Cadbury site is beyond me. It must have cost a fortune sending them all out, mine arrived by DPD.
Pinkspirit Mine hasn't arrived yet, as it said £9.99 I am expecting a large egg, so I will manage my expectations, but either way free is free
Pinkspirit It arrived today and it was two medium Easter Eggs, so hubby gets one too
I recently received a cheque from the Take a break magazine, it was for £20 as I had entered a competition. Not bad as I have been entering their competition since the first issue back in 1990!
eyeballkerry Congratulations. Its great to win anything, it made me smile. I enter loads of give aways/competitions and including the egg have only won twice ever but as they are free I keep entering them
beccatavender I have won different prizes over the years. Probably my best one was a weekend away. My husband won a PlayStation 4 and my daughters won a computer and games many years ago from the tv programme Milkshake.
£9.99 for delivery, no thanks, now if it was a super large one then I'd consider it, but nope it's not, just an average egg
martinlufc5637 I agree I hate paying for delivery, normally if they offer free delivery if you Spend X I do that. Saying that I did buy something from them, went through a cashback site and had a discount code. So combined it covered the £4.99 postage. I live in Yorkshire but all my family is in Wales so after being stung for £50 postage sending Christmas gifts. I am now sending everything direct
martinlufc5637 it was free delivery. The cost of the egg was £9.99 if you bought it rather than won it, but less than £4 in shops. How anyone can call a 198gms egg large is beyond me.
Glad to hear there are winners in this competition, I was wondering if there were. Sadly not me or anyone I know
Auntielettie That's normally me, when I opened the email I expected to see the normal sorry you haven't won but here's a discount code.
