I would absolutely love to go to this but it is far too far for me to travel as it's in Co. Durham.
I wish they had Kynren in the South as it seems like a truly great event.
Someone has posted a comp for kynren but if anyone has been can you say if it is worth me entering or making the trip and paying for tickets, travel and accommodation?

Sorry have not been but if you look at trip advisor on Kyren reviews they look very good. You will have to let us know if you go. I couldn’t post link.
Lynibis The show varies a little each year. It only takes place Fridays and Saturdays on various dates July-September. www.11arches.com/tickets/kynren It's all in the open air come rain, hail or snow so advisable to take a cushion and waterproof coat You can not take refreshments into the venue as bags are searched and the food available is over priced but you can get a good fish n chips in town beforehand. The fireworks at the end are spectacular. Get the main line train to Darlington and then local train to Bishop Auckland (limited service), I'd offer to accommodate you but it's a very small one bed flat but coffee/tea is no problem
lilyflower oh wow thanks so much for all the info. If I can find someone to come with me I will try to do it, though I do find long journeys daunting these days.
Lynibis 3 hours 20 min KX - Bishop cost for 2 is £120 with a 'two together' railcard @£30.
lilyflower you really are on a mission to help and I am so grateful, thank you. You may just sway the vote.
I’ve never heard of this before but it sounds really good from reading the description. Will have to add it to my list of things in great britain i want to do
