Did Anyone Manage to See the Northern Lights in the Uk Tonight

I was very lucky to have a beautiful display of Aurora Borealis in my garden in Kent. Absolutely amazing. Did anyone else get a free display? 
Yes we had them here in down town Yorkshire lol they were great , first time I've ever seen them

No I didn't see them, I was fast asleep. Didn't even know they were happening. Saw lots of photos of them on fb when I woke up though.
Lots of local places around me have been sharing pictures but I couldn’t see them from where I am and I wasn’t going out at that time.
Unfortunately not, but friends have posted photos on Facebook from Pocklington which isn't too far from us. I would love to see this as it is on my bucket list
beccatavender Depending where you are it should be happening again tonight. You don’t see the colours with the naked eye. You need to take pictures on your phone, then depend which phone you have and the results.
Great photos, I missed them as didn’t know they were happening- hoping to see them tonight instead
Gromit22 You can’t see the colours with the naked eye so use your camera on your phone, if you have one.
I think all the high ground might be busy tonight! That’s if you are not watching Eurovision Song Contest 
I did and it’s the first time i have ever seen them. My pictures are not as spectacular as the ones posted here but i’m still happy
jms19 I was over the moon I had seen them. I love cruising and on my bucket list was to see the Northern Lights. Ticked that one of and saved a fortune.
Yes we saw them, absolutely amazing and there has been some fantastic photos shared too.
HEDGEHOGS I couldn’t stop taking photos, it was absolutely amazing. Like I have said, it was on my bucket list to see them so have saved money on that trip so going back to the Caribbean instead now.
blacklabrador This is exactly true. I have ticked them off my list. I will still be cruising up the Norwegian fjords but don’t need to go so far now.
eyeballkerry Sadly I was in the land of Nod, so still need to see them, hopefully I'm going to Iceland before Christmas.
Jackscot Thats a shame. We all have different we like and don’t like. I absolutely found it amazing and couldn’t stop taking photos.
What amazing photos and congratulations to all who took and posted them.I am in the Canaries at the moment but the sky was overcast although there was a different sort of lightness in the sky.
SueWard Where about in the Canaries are you? I am off to Lanzarote at the end of the month for two weeks. I have done all the canary lslands apart from Fuerteventura.
I am on Fuerteventura where there are golden sands, azure seas and lots of really friendly people.
SueWard Like I said, it’s the only one I have not been too but definitely will one day. So many places I want to visit, so little time.
