Not a fan of Huawei but I'd still pick Huawei because it uses the Android OS and the built quality is quite good.

Apple devices are too restricted for me.

I prefer Apple. I'd only use a Huawei phone if I'd won it in a competition. Given the uncertainty over American trade policy on Huawei products I wouldn't risk buying a phone from them.

The whole U.S. issue was ultimately to do with $$$ but that sure made a dent on Huawei as people don't do their own research and rely solely on official statements.

So, if we're to believe that story about Huawei is genuine, then so is this below.

Haha, China wants to make a deal? The country which makes nearly everything.. that one? 😆

Rockman .

pmsl 😅😅 that reminds me of the time I was out in Saudi. I was trying to buy a few bits for families as souvenirs.I was really admiring the decoration and design, only to discover several labels stating "MADE IN CHINA" LOL.😂 😂

I prefer apple as i love the simplicity of the software but a few of my friends have changed to Huawei because the specs are really good and they are slightly cheaper, they love them.

I have a Huawei but a recent update has made it very annoying to use - awful memory management now.

But I'd never buy an Apple iPhone - too simplistic and don't want to get tied into their ecosystem.

Android is the way, but I don't think I'll buy another Huawei.

Samsung phones are great albeit pricey for some. The new Nokia phones that run on Android OS seem to be really good and the very own phones by Google, too.

For now I'm still sticking to the Chinese phone I bought in 2016 for £60. Works great, can't complain.

Rockman had Samsung for my last two phones but don't want to be paying that money again. Was up for Nokia but heard they have some memory issues too - going to have to do a bit of research before my next phone - I used to keep really up to date with Android goings on but haven't since getting my current phone.

I need a phone with a decent camera and one that will keep multiple apps open to switch betterment. My phone has recently started closing apps mostly every time I switch to another! Hugely frustrating!

Had apple and got bored after being so limiting , currently have a Huawei and it's good but there are a number of bits annoy me enough not to get another. I wish Google kept the Nexus line

I always use huwaei but it's only because it's what i am used to! Otherwise I would be open to trying something new but lots of new things to learn.

I've never had an "apple" device. My kids prefer them to android . As for me ! I wouldn't know how to turn on an iPhone or ipad! !

My grandkids, nieces and nephews all have them, I don't know what the whole "hype" is about other than £300+ price tag!!

If this was my only choice I would get a Huawei and then crack it to run a standard version of android to get round any limitations set on the phone. Hassle yes. Yet less hassle than having an apple base device that is unable to do anything much more than stick with apple systems.
