All Apple Stores Shut Temporarily

In the News

https://www.independent.co.uk/life-style/gadgets-and-tech/news/coronavirus-update-apple-store-shut-open-iphone-buy-china-world-a9401921.html

I was surprised to see that they were not open, as the other shops around them are still open (with some only reducing their hours). At least Apple can afford to do this, whereas the situation is most likely the final nail on the coffin for some

I took a walk around central London today. It was certainly quieter, but not as quiet as some of the photographs circulating would suggest. The shops that are still open are fairly random, such as Jessops, shoe shops, sweet shops, etc. All of the Starbucks stores have now closed - even for takeaway. But one sector appears to be relatively unaffected - hairdressers. I passed a lot of them and they all had customers. If they are still operating what is the difference between between sitting in a hairdressers with other customers and sitting in a cafe with a coffee ☕

yes, and I find it strange - lots of people obviously decided today was the day to get a hair cut! Lol! tbh I didn’t expect many Londoners to stay indoors

After the business loose profit...like 8% that is a lot of money for Apple and TK MAXX and others, they decide to shut instead of getting rid of staff.

I was walking around my local town centre and I was surprised everything was closed but I agree hairdressers were open.
