This is a new low for Apple. Apple treats their customers like sheep but giving them ultimatums is even worse and truly disrespectful.
I'm glad I ditched iOS devices.
i hope im upto date i have a iphone 5s i dont want to loose everything on my phone i have just tried the link you posted but its not working
Something to do with the annoying GDPR nowadays (for our "privacy"). Anyway, here's another one:

They are, but people are willing to buy the newest iPhone and I don't even get why. It's not like it'll be way more powerful to handle high-end apps/games than the last year version.
Plus, you can't side load apps and games like you can on Android.
I've played around with high end Apple phones and they are lovely phones, brilliant cameras, nice graphic user interface and fast and logical operation but of course I would not buy one even if I was a billionaire as I'd feel ripped off by the pricing. I like good value products which Apple are miles away from and their lack of expandable storage is another hugely annoying issue. My £44 phone has only 16GB storage but I expanded it with a £20 256GB micro sd card to give it 272GB storage. I dread to think how much a iphone would cost with 256GB storage.
The specification of my phone is a little weaker than I would ideally like but I think for £90-130 I could of got the full spec I wanted and may get such a phone in the future. When a bargain comes along I tend to bite then and sell off my old phone.
I use iPhone SE and I hope this doesn’t include this model! I can’t update I have run out of space on my phone but keeps telling me to do so
Apple had already stopped providing updates for iPhone 5 users. So they can't update beyond version 10.3.4. Meaning they have effectively already been locked out of some apps that require IOS 11.0 or later. This would suggest Apple are trying to compel users of earlier models to buy new phones.
