Being Away from Internet Makes Me Feel Relaxed.

I mean, this could be wrapped up to "Ignorance is bliss." which would be a perfectly valid point.
The world is what it is so you just gotta make the best of it, eh.
I find this too. There was a study that showed stress levels are linked to how often you check your emails
And yet there are so many people with smart phones etc. Willing to pay exorbitant sums to take the internet exerywhere with them. I've only comparatively recently started carrying a mobile phone - it hasn't rung while I've been out yet (people probably don't know where I am to phone me )
I literally just got back from a week away in New York - had no internet there which was actually refreshing. I found myself ONLY going on my phone when I was connected to WIFI at the hotel. It felt goooooood being able to enjoy myself without constantly checking my messages and social media.
Life was much better in the 1900s, no social media, no news on TV to brainwash the masses, everyone was more polite and people actually spoke to each other face to face.
Yep I agree! I worry how today's lifestyle will affect future generations. I think we'll see a huge decline in physical and social skills as no one lets their children play outside anymore.
whenever. go on holiday, I sometimes go to remote locations where the internet is so bad I wouldn't want to use it anyway. In those instances, it's like I have a detox, and then I don't want to start using it again when I return...but I always do!
