Banned on Instagram

How many others are getting a regular ban on Instagram for doing exactly as the competition provider ask for - tag a friend or tag two friends.
My latest is for 1 day but I've had up to 4 days. There reason being
It looks like you tried to get likes, follows, shares or video views in a misleading way.
You shared this on your profile
This goes against our Community Standards on spam.
UPDATE as of 21.30 my ban has been extended to 15th. I'd say that's the end of Christmas comps!
It happened to me last week L, 4 days blocked for tagging in competitions
The first time it happened a while ago was after posting emojis on a boohoo competition
Its getting ridiculous, i honestly would not bother entering on social media but more and more comps are using it now , so you have no choice
telmel It's very frustrating especially with all the nice Christmas goodies on offer. Since November I've been banned more days than active.
telmel I rarely enter on social media and if more comps are hosted on there I will not be entering. The the time I spend entering comps is not justified by winning a couple of times per year. If more people stopped entering on Instagram maybe they would rethink. They should all have the same rules, one entry, one tag and a like, I don't even mind following as I then ignore them anyway!
Lynibis I agree L but unfortunately more and more are going to instagram and facebook
A lot used to go to twitter but since it became X there are not so many now
What i dislike about social media competitions is it is hard to know if they are real or fake, and i think even LD moderation find this too as the few i tried were sometimes rejected
But it will get to a stage soon where most will be through instagram and facebook
I have won a couple of competitions using facebook but never won an instagram comp
And i hate it when an instagram competition says to check the terms and conditions in the bio, and when you look there is nothing there !
I get it occasionally for liking too many posts.
Thought that was the whole point!
blacklabrador I never know from one day to next if I can do one or twenty one comps and haven't been able to tag you and three others for weeks 
lilyflower Daft way to run a site that relies on people liking pictures and posts.
I'm guessing it's not done by a human, because they'd be able to distinguish spammers from genuine users.
blacklabrador It's all wrong about how they distinguish, just this morning I've had three likes on a Gift card comp and they are all girls wearing very little - obviously looking for likes but in this case it was a report and block.
I’m not on Instagram. In fact, I don’t bother much with social media. Too many scams for my liking on these platforms
I only joined instagram to enter competitions. This month there have so many comps and I’ve had my account blocked too.

Haven’t used instagram for ages, deactivated my account. Only kept it to keep in touch with someone I used to work with but we don’t get on now so no need for it.

really?! That’s so annoying it’s not like you did anything wrong but do that for competitions! Just don’t bother with them anymore, not likely that you will win them right? Lol ah hope your account gets unblocked soon or just make a new one haha
kitty88uk I only use it for competitions. The one post (now taken down) I did put up ended up getting a load of 'missflashmybits has followed you follow back' - Really! I was blocking etc everyday. Meta really need to look at what's going on.
lilyflower yeah don’t bother with blocking cause it will just keep happening it’s so annoying! Fake accounts! 
when I get notifications I then just remove them from following or just ignore them
Does seem pretty stupid, you would think they would tell the people running the competitions, not to do it in this way.
I got my account suspended today and I’m still in instagram jail so I can’t comment or tag anyone it’s now getting beyond a joke as I was banned for 4days and I had just logged in today and received a suspended account notification
tara73ziva I seem to get parole of about 12 hours than I violate it by entering another comp and get put back in jail for even longer.
lilyflower yep that’s exactly what happened this morning I re tagged a friend who had tagged me then I got the suspended account notification, it’s definitely getting beyond a joke especially when you follow the guidelines and I’m not spamming or fishing for followers. I’m still blocked but it’s not telling me for how long
I think my account is on hold again! I only enter competitions so I can’t understand why this keeps happening.
