Seen a deal for free bath bombs but 99p delivery charge but now a few are saying scam, im really worried now, anyone know anything?
Me neither, i did email the company earlier to make sure my order went through as the postage hadn’t been taken from my account and they replied saying they only take money once it’s dispatched, will get a screenshot now

darrenpearce36 oh bloody hell, like I said all I can do is keep eye on account, and I do usually pay via PayPal but that option wasn’t there....lesson learnt!!

I'm hoping it's not a scam, I'm going to phone the bank tomorrow to cancel it xx
Yeah I’m contemplating doing the same although that email does seem ok but I just don’t want to chance it, lesson learnt in future I think
Hello, earlier today a freebie was posted on LatestDeals.co.uk from a website called Fizzy Bath.
In the comments one LD member suggested it may not be a legitimate website because of a previous bad experience.
The post was then immediately put into Moderation for the safety of LD members. We do not know the truth of this claim and put it in Moderation just in case.
If you are worried, we recommend keeping an eye on your bank and if you notice anything suspicious contacting them immediately.
In the meantime we have also blocked this website from being shared again on our website.
The safety of LD members is very important to us. We our this post into moderation as soon as we were made aware.
If anyone does receive the free sample please do share a photo.

its not a scam, if you have online banking and are worrying cancel the transaction and alert the bank x
There is no transaction yet as they only take money once item dispatche, will keep Close eye on my account
suzymc2308 I fell for this ages ago. They attempted to take £165 out of my bank account, about 3/4 months later. Cancel your bank card.
LeanneWard I have cancelled it but the bank told me that won’t necessarily stop them from taking anything, upto now nothing has been taken thankfully, shame I didn’t see your warnings

Latest Deals does not “hide” posts reported to be scams in this sense.
When we are made aware of something like this, we immediately put the post into Moderation for the safety of LD members. Again, we do not know the truth of this claim.
If you spot a post you think may be wrong, you can report it to us. We rely on community reports and feedback to bring this to our attention.
The safety of LD members is the most important thing to us. Please read my previous message on what was done about this post and what we know so far.

Well, whilst checking out the website myself, it does say in the url bar that it is not secure. I don't trust sites that don't have the padlock or the 'https' at the beginning of the web address.
The address is copied from Bomb Cosmetics in Bournemouth who take paypal. The ebay seller linked to the scam page knows nothing about it and has had numerous emails from people enquiry as to it legitimacy . The ebay seller is not the same as the scam site or bomb cosmetics
Have you seen the email I got from them? It seems ok? Nothing gone from my bank either yet so will just keep a Close eye on it

suzymc2308 Did you email the same page that you ordered from. If they were looking to scam you then they would just send a reply to set your mind at rest. They mentioned an ebay account on the page . He knows nothing about it

darrenpearce36 ok thanks for letting me know, I’ve just spoke to my bank and they just said there’s nothing I can do at the moment coz they haven’t taken money as of yet and cancelling my card won’t stop them from taking money so if they do take any (except for 99p postage) then I should be ok to get it back

also the website as now been taking down because it was a scam
darrenpearce36 I wish people would have just listened to me last night. People were still going ahead and purchasong it after I told them it was a scam. They wouldn’t have it.
LeanneWard Money is now being taken from accounts why won't LD issue a statement on here telling people to cancel their cards...because of the damage it will do to their reputation
I emailed them in the contact us section I’ve had no reply. I’m about to email them again saying they have been flagged as a scam so theres no point in them trying to take any payments from any accounts as the banks are aware of their scam. If I get a reply I will let people know.
I never failed to be amazed by people's inability to be sensible on the internet. IF IT SEEMS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, IT USUALLY IS.
That’s not true though, the amount of freebies I’ve had through this site is amazing and to be honest I don’t think your comment is in any Way helpful! We know we have been silly and lesson learnt for next time so comments like yours are not needed, thanks!
