A man who claims to be a psychic and calls himself "The Living Nostradamus" has made his predictions for 2024 – and it looks to be an eventful year. Hailing from Brazil, Athos Salome had warned that next year would be a "new chapter in human history" with aliens, a robot rebellion, global catastrophe – but also hope. Previously, he claims to have predicted the Coronavirus pandemic, the World Cup final, Putin's invasion of Ukraine and even the death of The Queen. Do you believe ?? Or think total rubbish
We can all predict those things though. I predict it’s going to be an extra day in February 
. I predict there will be a general election at some point this year. I predict there will be more bank branch closures and even less shops this year. I predict more technology.
No definitely not, I'd like to see the things he claims to have predicted though because at least 2/4 of the things he said he has got right weren't really that hard to see coming and the world cup final was between 2 of the highest ranked teams in the tournament.
Robot rebellion would be interesting as we haven't got any of any sophistication yet. While AI now has decent IQ i.e. problem solving and mathematical ability etc they aren't yet self aware. In order to have a robot rebellion surely we would need to have some robots that are self-aware in the first place?
We can all predict the worse, how about we predict some nice stuff that is going to happen. The world is getting a worse place to live in, why are we not learning ?
