What are the Top Disney Movies for Kids Besides Moana and Encanto?

Ask a Question

I'm at a loss at the moment for the best kids movies!

My daughter won't try anything other than Moana or encanto so along these lines would be great please;

Mulan? But my advice would be put any well known one on without even saying anything and just watch her get into it. I did this with my 48 yr old son and his wife who kept saying they didn't fancy the Last Kingdom. I put it on and while I slowly made the tea they became engrossed, asked what it was and later texted to say they had watched 2 more episodes, they then binged the whole lot!

Don't watch Pinocchio, I loved it as a kid, but rewatching it as an adult has a totally different meaning.

NicoleC94 That one's not very good like most live action remakes.

But I can recommend Del Toro's Pinocchio:

PhilipMarc Depends which version you have seen as just in 2022 alone there were three different Pinocchio films released which had different reviews and not necessarily good. I think around 50 versions in total

As an adult I still can't watch Bambi or at least get no enjoyment from it. Very upsetting film. I remember enjoying Fantasia as a child but can't remember much about it today.

You may try Disney+ subscription. From time to time you can have it for £1.99pm. Right now is £4.99 with and £7.99 without ads pm. I think you can get 6 months free from O2 on new phone contracts. Samsung used to give 12months free with purchase of new galaxy phones but I think stopped now.

Those with Club LLoyd acc in Lloyds can also get 12 months of free Disney+ (12 months' free Disney+ with a Club Lloyds account - Fee-free bank account if you pay in £2,000 a month (£3 monthly fee if you don't)

My son absolutely loves Cars. He won't watch any other Disney movie and I have accepted it. He watches Cars, Cars 2, Cars 3 and Cars on the Road.

Try Tangled, Mulan, The Little Mermaid. Put them on the TV and just walk away to do something and see how she reacts.

I'm old school when it comes to Disney movies. My favourite was Snow White, I loved how the animals were with her and that her character was kind. Even as a child I could relate to the concept of 'wicked witch' characters as I certainly had a few of those in my life lol.

Have they got to be Disney movies? I must admit I haven’t seen many, although I did like How to train a dragon. My daughter used to watch Snow White every night before bed.
