Is there any kind of app that allows you to listen to music offline for free?

I use YouTube personally. You can add yourself a playlist or download the song to MP3. Thats what I do.

However, YouTube Music offers a much better service as it is a dedicated music streaming service so there's only officially posted songs (and yes, a few by random users which you can tell by the not so looking official cover and audio quality).
So... If you're gonna pirate YT, do YTM.
