I know a fair few people who swear by putting natural yogurt on themselves after they’ve been in the sun too long.

Whilst on holiday a Spanish woman came to my brother's rescue. She took a large steak tomato which had been refrigerated and cut it in half before applying it to his skin. It helped his sunburn a lot.

Aloe Vera is meant to be really good, or plenty of aftersun. Drink plenty of water and try best to keep cool with shower and damp cloths.

Using plenty of suncream to begin with is the best sunburn remedy. But aloe Vera gel is fantastic for sunburn.

Greek yoghurt is the best remedy, smells really awful when it warms up but is worth the trouble

Use a high factor sunscreen in the first place. People don’t seem to understand how getting sunburn can increase your chances of skin cancer

Apply a moisturizer that contains aloe vera to help soothe sunburned skin and take paracetamol for pain relief.

I haven’t suffered this way in years. One of the places I stayed in the past had aloe Vera plants and let guests take cuttings to deal with burns
