I had a week off last summer during the heat wave and we drove to a different beach every day on the south coast - littlehampton, Brighton, angmerring, Eastbourne and finally a long drive to the witterings with a picnic - kids loved it and still talk about it now. One day I forgot my swimwear and ran in the sea in my underwear!! Great memories made.
