Best Anti-Puncture Products?
Ask a Question
i have ust bought a cheap bike for work/gym can you advice on whats best for anti puncture please thanks
Lots of options for reducing punctures, you can get solid puncture proof tyres, tanus? or something like that, they can't puncture as solid with no inner tube but the ride quality is a little harsh, you can get very thick tyres with puncture proof lining, you can use extra strong inner tubes like downhill inner tubes and of course you can go tubeless and use sealant with an inner tube. What works best for you is down to your bike and where you ride. I wouldn't want to use Tannus solid tyres on modern pot holed roads.
If your willing to pay out, you can buy extra thick tyres, I have a pair on my mountain bike , I've never had a puncture
martinlufc5637 What brand are they and are you a light, medium or heavy rider. I've watched various videos on youtube some of which has riders who claim to go many, many years between punctures but then they are extremely light maybe 55kg for some of them. Many factors to getting punctures and weight of the rider is one of them.
