Would the points equate to your age (which you would have to reveal ๐Ÿ˜ฒ) or something else?

Or simply reward members with points on LD anniversary / every year on the date of joining? Simplifying the age/personal data info?

Have you thought of asking supermarkets you use for extra groceries on birthday, or even asking your boss for a day off work or double time on your birthday. You don't mention if some members could have as many birthdays as they have accounts.๐Ÿ˜€

I don't give my "genuine" birthday to anyone online (except for banks and doctors etc) it's too easy for people to work out age by something said, Revealing date of birth is not advisable if you want to safeguard personal details for security purposes..

davidstockport I have tried in my work but it was a no go and some company's do give you something free on your birthday yes I wasn't thinking about security purposes just points ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿคฃ๐Ÿคฃ lol ๐Ÿ˜

kate1310 Many of the online sites that give you something on your birthday are just trying to get information, that it's not always advisable to give. ๐Ÿ˜€

Incidentally unless you're Kate Walsh (the American actress), i now know of two Kates whose birthdays are on the 13th October. Happy Birthday,๐Ÿ˜€

kate1310 Where I work everyone gets their birthday off. Sometimes you can get lucky and get the next day off, if it is your usual day off.

This is a bit of a daft idea because LD I believe has 3 million members so even giving them one point each on their birthday, or the anniversary of joining, would cost the founders 3 million points per year, they would soon go bust. If my maths is correct that would be ยฃ3,000 per year and shed loads more if they got 100 on their birthday.

I think it would only encourage some users to post non deals and obvious point gathering chat posts. There are some users who only post on here as a way to get points, rather than to help others.

Yeah that is a really fantastic excellent to session feedback to Tom because if you have a birthday they give you extra points I think swagbucks does that as well when it's your birthday you get 100 SB

This is a great suggestion although I imagine it is someoneโ€™s birthday on here everyday as there are so many members. It is nice to receive something different on your birthday and have a surprise

eyeballkerry see my comment above it would cost a fortune to do this for every member. A competition each month for those with birthdays in that month would be nice, 12 prizes per year shouldn't break the bank ๐Ÿ˜„

What a great idea, maybe instead of a Birthday point present they could be issued at the same time to everyone as a Christmas present ๐ŸŽ….
