Can anyone recommend a decent body camera with audio, sad times when you need one of these, I won't go into details why I need it
Sorry I can't help with a recommendation but that's something I've not thought of but it's a good idea. Not only for personal safety but could catch someone committing crime. If we all wore one I wonder if it would significantly reduce street crime.

Pjran if the police did their job there would be no need for one, it's for my wife, we have a troublesome neighbour, he's been saying some inappropriate things to her, I'd prefer to deal with it the old fashioned way, but I'd end up in trouble, we just need some evidence

martinlufc5637 You or her could do audio recordings with a phone. However, even with evidence I doubt the police would do anything, just keep your distance and be suspicious of that neighbor.
As for a bodycam, you'd need to spend £50+ for a good basic bodycam.
I bought one on AliExpress for £10 which has excellent video/audio quality, but only films for two hours (that's nothing). I didn't know it was only 2hrs, it stated 7hr or 8hrs, iirx.
