Boycotting Costa

In the News

Fuming man boycotts Costa after buying 'half empty' coffee - and gets apology. Do you think that while packaging is getting bigger we are getting less for our money.?

I'd know instantly I would of thought if the cup was half empty by the weight although I guess if you go with a fancy flavour which has a lot of froth it might be different. Seems a funny news story of little merit to be honest. Are we going to get 'Man finds folded page in newspaper and boycotts Wh Smiths' or 'Man finds crisp packet have empty with only small crisps and boycotts Greggs'. Maybe they could have my news story 'Man buys kefir at Asda with a displayed £3 price and was charged £3.50!'.

He got an apology and what more does he want? Free publicity of course.
