Britain's Got Talent?
Ask a Question
Now I don't normally watch it but I did last night and didn't think it was too bad till the last one and I was nearly sick did anyone else watch it?
I don’t ever watch it. I tried to in early days but I have concluded Britain definitely does not have talent on that show and is all about the ‘judges’ egos.
I used to watch all time but I've grown out of it and don't watch it no more also used to watch similar programs like Big Brother
I am away at the moment but I do generally watch it. Not as much as I used to. But now you have made me curious. I will have to watch it on catch up when I get home.
Leannexxx You are making me more curious now and I can’t do anything until Sunday. But I will definitely come back to you.
I haven't watched it for years, total crap, last time I watched it, a few were not even British
martinlufc5637 I didn't watch it years ago because I'd be working the time it was on and I don't normally watch it now it's only because my daughter wanted to see some of it
I watched it and quite enjoyed most of it apart from the American woman that was burping, I had to fast forward that part, thought the girl that sung Tomorrow was brilliant.
Television programmes are manufactured to provoke reaction. If a programme fails to create strong feelings from the public whether that be fear, disgust or sheer joy it is highly unlikely to be discussed amongst people. This leads to unpopularity of a programme and it's ratings falling. Poor ratings equals lost revenue.
There were some amazing acts over the weekend, the Canadian woman with her planet earth type act, the opera singer from South africa, the South Koreans, the magician. They seem to be doing away with the stupid acts apart from the lady from USA you referred to. In what universe anyone could think that was talent, let alone to perform for royalty. I think she made an absolute fool of herself.
Lynibis I don't watch it but read your comment about South Africans, South Koreans & Canadians - so I wondered how it can even be called Britain's Got Talent?
tumblespots you're right and people have said this every year. It used to annoy me but I have changed my stance now as I have seen many Brits on foreign versions of the show. I guess it makes for varied acts and I doubt very much that Britain could produce an act like the Koreans did. We could definitely do without the American burper though, I can't imagine why she even got an audition
I don't normally watch it but there a few good acts on there, but couldn't fathom out how belching was a talent , some one lost their mind IMO
MartinJarvis even worse that she apparently travelled from USA to appear on BGT which says a lot about our principles, even worse was the fact she got put through by Cowell and the airhead.
I haven't watched BGT for years and I don't intend to start again. I found it boring whenever I watched it and never made it to the end of the programme.
I normally avoid all programs like this, including reality TV, and I only watched it because I got paid to!
Leannexxx it’s via a company called Mediaprobe. You wear a sensor on your hand whilst watching the shows they want you to watch then answer a few questions. Easy money.
Leannexxx yes it’s good money! To watch BGT payment was £10. It’s not my kind of show but I’m happy to sit thru it for money
