Britain's Most Popular Chocolate Bar Has Been Chosen , is It Your Favourite?

Ask a Question

The UKs most popular chocolate bar has been chosen after a national poll for this year and it is, drum roll ''''' Mars Bar

I quite like a mars but my favourite is a snickers bar, the one voted top in 2020 , as i love a chocolate and nut combination

I wonder if it might be in decline due to nut allergies ?

Another winner was cadburys dairy milk voted top last year

I have also posted below the most popular chocolate bars in the world and some favourites that have been discontinued

What gets your vote ?

The list surprises me don't mind a Mars but wouldn't have put it top of the list, and Munchies at number 4 really , haven't had these for years and don't see them in that many stores either.

Surprised Mars bar won as I find it’s a little plain. I enjoy a mars bar but it wouldn’t be anywhere near the top of my list.

KitKat at no 6? Until last year I used to eat a four-finger pack of it daily. I stopped buying it when it cost more than £2 for a four pack. I used to pay between £1-1.50 before.

I haven't eaten a Mars Bar in at least 25 years 😃 Just remember them tasting far too sugary for my palette.

I do like the cheap stuff, Cadburys Caramel, Galaxy Caramel and chunky KitKats and love Malteasers

Lindt white chocolate balls are awesome though, too much to chose from 😂

Nope, not even close. I can’t stand these junk chocolates that barely have cocoa in them. It’s the 70-99% that do it for me, thanks

It's weird, I'll never buy a Mars Bar during the year, but when get one in a Christmas Selection Box I'll always think "why don't I have one of these more often".

My Favourite is a Boost or Double Decker

Frys Cream bars, Turkish Delight, Bounty, to be fait I love them all! I am happy with the Tesco pretend mars Bars but my family prefer the real ones, but only get them if they are on offer - which isnt that often these days. Always on the look out for anything new.

To be honest I can't remember the last time that I ate a Mars bar, probably in the ice cream bars about 20 + years ago. I love a Daim bar or Bounty.

HEDGEHOGS I've put that on the radar I typically only buy cake when on offer or a short life reduction. I did get a Malteser cake the other day reduced from about £4.50 to £1.50 which was pretty decent.

I don't really eat chocolate but would have chocolate biscuit with a cuppa. When I was a child I always got a mars bar, packet tayto cheese n onion crisps, pkt planters dry roasted peanuts, an apple and an orange in my stocking for Christmas. I never liked mars bars lol.

I find Mars Bars too sweet.I prefer 90% dark chocolate. It is expensive but I balance the price by buying yellow stickers on other goods. This type of chocolate has lots of good things in it.

My favourite has probably got to be a Crunchie bar, I will eat a Mars bar but not on my favourites list. I used to love a Texan bar as they took forever to eat.

Don’t like Mars bars, my go to would be a snickers, boost r double deckers. Try not to buy the multi packs of them for grandkids cos I just end up eating them so buy different multi packs that I’m not so fond of. I never used to like dark chocolate but now I quite enjoy it plus cos it’s much denser chocolate a few pieces do me at a time so don’t feel so guilty eating whole bar as I would if it was milk chocolate. My sweet tooth will be ruin of me, surprised I don’t have dentures yet 😂

I love Bounty Bars the milk chocolate ones. But then I also like Dairy milk, wispa, twirl, cruncie, milky way, Fry's chocolate cream. The worst is toffee crisp it's horrible now there's too much oil in them made me sick.

I'm from Toffee Town but not really a big fan of Quality Street ...although I like the newer varieties that they have in the tubs these days. The chocolate always tastes a bit cheap for me. I like Mars bars but they're so small these days. Probably Cadbury chocolate Crunchie is my personal favourite. They're also shrinking too !

I'm not keen on Mars bars I love twirls and dairy milk chocolate. I also love Hotel Chocolat when I can get a bargain. The best bargain I had was from a London train station I had an £80 box that was reduced to £18 I had 2! I was given a crunchie in Nursery class I was sick that night not had one since so that's definitely not on my list.
