Is Bullfighting.. Animal Cruelty?
Other
Bullfighting is a well known tradition in Portugal and Spain where a bull is toyed around with for the pleasure of the audience, by being stabbed wherever in his body.
That might sound horrible to you, but Bullfighting is a form of art which can be quite beautiful to spectate and the music is phenomenal.
That said, I'm not in favor or against it, just that it's a tradition which is very much cherished by their native populations.
I'm guessing this will eventually be banned, though.
The poor things are beaten, stabbed, set fire to and dragged through streets all in the name of sport, if they did that to a person it would be called torture, why should it be OK just because it is an animal? Despicable
Hi rockman I think it's all wrong and it should be band. How would they like it to be chased around a ring. It's dame well cruelty. It's high time it's stop.
Hi davidstockport yes I do. I happy when the bull turns on to the person. They stab with there horns.
in my opinions yes.. animals shouldn't be subject to such and the dangers presented both to the animal and human participant and so with th expectators if something went wrong
yes i think so ... its being hurt just so people can watch it i think its sadistic and should be banned x
I think it‘s simply cruel - no art in it at all. Perhaps it did have a place in society in the days when people used to watch people being hung, drawn and quartered, or when gladiators fought to their deaths...but we have reality tv now, so there’s no need to continue this so-called sport where the matador has the unfair advantage. I’d like to see a ban
