telmel I couldn’t agree more . I was shocked when I read the headline and after reading the article I still thought it was incorrect. I searched online to check the prices out . I wonder if people are going to buy them this year . I know they are very popular at Easter but not at this price especially with cost of living etc.

Not buying any - it's just silly. Seems like they want to influence the public into thinking it's good quality/value (it's not) by inflating the price 🙄

Stick to a mint aero or tesco whole nut.

Shocking, hopefully nobody will buy them, but I'm sure they will, there is no way I'd pay that

martinlufc5637 that’s what I’m hoping that no one will buy them and forcing the price to be lowered.

Jackscot I won’t be buying either and I too like then but can’t afford the price. And even if I could afford them I wouldn’t buy out of principle

I’m a big fan of mini eggs but definitely won’t be paying that for them. Prices are getting out of hand

They were already extremely expensive. Trouble is, they can get away with it because there will always be those who can still afford to buy. They don't give a hoot if poorer people can't.

Lynibis surely they won’t sell as many as usual but like you say some people will still buy them and at that price they’ll make money on them so it won’t matter to the company
