Called in Sick to Play a Video Game?

Ask a Question

Have you ever called in sick or taken a day off to play a New Video Game or Read a New Book?

When I was kid I took time off school because I was stuck into the last Harry Potter Book 😂

I can't say I have but I know people that have in the past or when a big game comes out they will book a week off to play it.

I also remember when I worked at a supermarket years ago, we had one of the big games in early ready for release day (think it was a halo game) and a staff bought it a week earlier than release. He got found out and suspended for a week but he was happy cause he just got to play the game.

I have sacked staff for saying they had a family emergency. It turns out it was a lie she wanted time off to read her new book

What. No chance of getting away with that. That's what you look forward to when you get home, a reward after a long day. All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy. Or so the saying goes lol.
