What are you favorite candle scents and how does it make you feel.
Which candle brand do you use. Are Yankee candles good.
I seem to have accumulated quite a few as they have been gifts and generally they are indeed yankee candles. Like Noneless I love vanilla in candles but also toiletries and flavourings. I like the black cherry scented candle which a friend bought for my birthday recently.
zerocenturyzero No, but strangely enough I was looking at candle making sets on Amazon today and quite fancy giving it a go. Was thinking of setting up conservatory as an arts/craft place for hobbies. Never been particularly creative but would like to try decorating some bottles, making greetings cards and so forth.
zerocenturyzero my mom is an artist, she makes candles and lots of things. I am not so talented like her.
Love white linen and baby powder .love yankee candles x also love the christmas gingerbread candles just smell like hot warm gingerbread men coming out the oven n they only half the price of yankee ones xx
I love yankees and my favourite ones are lemon lavender & snowflake cookie I really like a strong smelling candle rather than the more subtle ones. Just makes me feel like my home smells nice
Sand and Fog candles are lovely. I got the pumpkin spice one, it really smells like the candle when u burn it. I also love the Pine one for Christmas...and it also does not make smoke in the end, just scent...
Also have a candle, I think DW vanilla tobacco and it is lovely, never burn it, just take the lid off and the whole room get the scent.
Lavender, cinnamon, as long as it smells nice I don't mind what scent it is. Yankee candles are good but we buy morrisons own candles, they are a fraction of the price, smell amazing and last ages
I have a lot of candles in my cupboard (people love to give them as gifts don't they?!) - yankee candles are lovely and smell fab. I like to light loads up before a bath and turn the light off. Ultimate relaxation.
After many years of buying branded candles mainly Sanctury and Yankee I’ve started buying Aldi ones. They are only about £4 for a double wick in a glass jar and last a long time. While I can order these candles online with free delivery over £20 I shall continue using them. I love the cosy candle light but other half sees it as burning money! Of course I don’t pay attention to his grumpy ways.
I guess if you agree a set limit you both can enjoy the candles together more and try different types of candles.
Bless you. My husband really gets no pleasure from a candle. I love candles and will continue to buy them, I’m not overly extravagant. There are more important issues to both agree on in our lives.
